Styledrop

StyleDrop, developed by Google Research, is an AI tool that utilizes Muse, a text-to-image generative vision transformer, to generate images in specific styles. It accurately captures intricate details of user-provided styles, including color schemes, shading, design patterns, and local and global effects. This is achieved by fine-tuning a small number of trainable parameters, which is less than 1% of the total model parameters. The tool can also improve image quality through iterative training and can produce impressive results with just a single image as the style reference.

In comparison to other methods like DreamBooth and Textual Inversion, StyleDrop surpasses them in style tuning text-to-image models, as proven by an extensive study. It can generate high-quality images from text prompts by incorporating natural language style descriptors with content descriptors during both training and generation. Additionally, the tool allows users to generate consistent-styled images of alphabets and offers the ability to collaborate and train with their own brand assets. By combining StyleDrop with DreamBooth, users can create images of "MY SUBJECT" in "MY STYLE". The tool acknowledges image owners and provides links to the image assets used in experiments.
